Honor was inspired by a painting by the 14th century Italian artist named Paolo Veneziano. The painting is titled Dormitio Virginis and can be found in Vicenza. The design is composed of a medallion pattern similar to Persian motifs. This stylized flower or pomegranate is combined with a smaller motif from Tibet.
